More Than Manners...

Student 1Leading By Impression

After many years working in education and raising my own four children I decided to start Please Pass the Manners. There are many compelling reasons to offer these classes.

I have seen so many children unable to answer questions with more than a one-word answer, let alone be able to hold down a conversation. Many of these children would much rather be texting, gaming or or using the iPAD than looking you in the eye and talking. There is no substitute for face to face interaction.

We have a family dinner in my house almost every night but this notion is less and less in many households. My wish is that families will at least once a week have a dinner conversation that includes everyone at the table without distractions.

Some of the lessons your child or teen will learn...
  • Initiating conversation
  • Desired table manners
  • Preferred body language
  • Proper introductions

The skills learned in Please Pass the Manners will be lifelong skills that will be needed in future school and job interviews and the workplace setting. Learning from someone other than parents often lessens the resistance a child may have.

Browse our Classes & Packages to find the right program for your child or teen. Also private or special group lessons are available.
